H-Pylori Testing

Since 1982, Helicobacter pylori has been shown to be the cause of a variety of gastroduodenal diseases in humans, including peptic ulcers and gastric cancer. Recently, the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) has recommended the discontinued use of H. pylori IgG testing in the United States for the purposes of diagnosing active disease and verifying cure post-treatment.
