Collect

  • One SST

Submit

  • 2 mL (Min:0.3 mL) Serum in Standard Transport Tube. Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.

Special Handling

  • Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection
  • Allow serum specimen to clot completely prior to specimen centrifuge.
    Serum free of fibrin and red blood cells as this can cause erroneous results.
