- One SST
Submit
- 2 mL (Min:1 mL) Serum in Standard Transport Tube. Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.
Special Handling
- Avoid Repeated Freeze/Thaw Cycles
- Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection
- Parallel testing is preferred. Mark specimen plainly as "acute or convalescent." Convalescent specimens must be recieved within 30 days of acute specimens.
