  • One SST

Also Acceptable:
  • One Red Top

Submit

  • 1 mL (Min:0.2 mL) Serum . Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.

Special Handling

  • Avoid Repeated Freeze/Thaw Cycles
  • Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection
  • If Striated Muscle Abs detected, a titer will be added. Additional charges apply.

  • Grossly Lipemic Samples
  • Hemolyzed specimens
  • Plasma
  • Contaminated specimens
