Specimen:	Collect:	One Green Top (Li Heparin) Also Acceptable: One Green Top (Na Heparin)
	Submit:	0.5 mL (Min:0.3 mL) Plasma . Submit Frozen.
	Special Handling:	Critical Frozen Fasting Specimen is Preferred Place specimen in ice bath immediately after collecting. Centrifuge, transfer plasma and freeze within 1 hour of collection. Transfer plasma to an Amber Transport Tube. Thawing and refreezing of the specimen and exposure to light will result in decreased Vitamin C concentration.
	Rejection Criteria:	Body fluids, specimens not protected from light, grossly hemolyzed plasma, non-frozen specimens. Blood collection tube types other than green (sodium or lithium heparin).
