Specimen:

Collect

  • One Lavender (EDTA)

Also Acceptable:
  • One Pink Top (EDTA)

Submit

  • 1 mL (Min:0.5 mL) Plasma . Submit Frozen. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.

Special Handling

  • Critical Frozen
  • Separate aliquot required for each frozen test ordered
  • Separate from cells ASAP
  • Collect in chilled tube and immediately place on ice. Centrifuge, remove plasma and freeze within 20 minutes.
