Collect
- Two Blue Top (Na Citrate)
Submit
- 2 mL (Min:1.5 mL) Plasma . Submit Frozen. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.
Special Handling
- Critical Frozen
- Separate aliquot required for each frozen test ordered
- Separate from cells ASAP
- Centrifuge sample and separate plasma within one hour of collection.
For patients on Low Molecular weight heparin therapy, state type.
