Submit
- 10 mL (Min:1 mL) Whole blood in SPS Tube. Submit Ambient.
Also Acceptable:
- 7 mL (Min:1 mL) Bone Marrow in SPS Tube. Submit Ambient.
Special Handling
- Critical Ambient
- Collect in sterile SPS tube or Myco/F Lytic bottle.
To conserve blood bottle supply during the nationwide shortage, SPS tubes (yellow) are not acceptable. ARUP is currently accepting only Bactec Myco/F Lytic bottles for this testing.
