  • 1 mL (Min:0.2 mL) Serum in Standard Transport Tube. Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.

  • 1 mL (Min:0.2 mL) Plasma in Standard Transport Tube. Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.

Special Handling

  • Draw specimen following an overnight (12-hour) fast.
    Patient should not consume alcohol for one day prior to blood draw.
    Separate serum or plasma within 1 hour of collection.

  • Hemolyzed specimens
  • Whole blood
  • Body fluids other than serum or plasma.
