- One Red Top
Submit
- 2 mL (Min:1 mL) Serum in Standard Transport Tube. Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.
Special Handling
- Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection
- Serum in a gel separator tube stored refrigerated is acceptable if separated from the gel within 1 hour.
Rejection Criteria
- Use of separator tubes
- Whole blood
- Citrated plasma.
Tubes that contain liquid anticoagulant.
