- One SST
Submit
- 1 mL (Min:0.2 mL) Serum in Standard Transport Tube. Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.
Special Handling
- Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection
- Parallel testing is preferred.
Convalescent specimen must be received within 30 days from receipt of the acute.
Mark specimens plainly as "acute" or "convalescent".

- Heat inactivated

- Icteric specimen
- Lipemic Samples
