  • One Royal Blue (EDTA)

  • Red Blood Cells in One Trace Element Free Tube

Submit

  • 2 mL (Min:0.7 mL) Red Blood Cells in Royal Blue (EDTA). Submit Refrigerated.

Also Acceptable:
  • 2 mL (Min:0.7 mL) Red Blood Cells in Trace Element Free Tube. Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.

Special Handling

  • Specimen Preparation: Separate cells within 2 hours of collection. Transport 2 mL RBCs in the original collection tube. (Min.: 0.7 mL)
