Submit:
  • 1 mL (Min:0.2 mL) Serum . Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.

Also Acceptable:
  • 1 mL (Min:0.2 mL) Plasma . Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.
Special Handling:
  • Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection
  • Patient Preparation:Collect between 6-10 a.m.
    Remarks: This test is suggested for women and children due to an improved sensitivity of testosterone by LC-MS/MS.
