Collect
- One Lavender (EDTA)

- One Yellow Top (ACD Tube)
Submit
- 3 mL (Min:1 mL) Whole blood in 4 mL Lavender (EDTA). Submit Refrigerated.
Also Acceptable:
- 3 mL (Min:1 mL) Whole blood in 6 mL Pink Top (EDTA). Submit Refrigerated.
- 3 mL (Min:1 mL) Whole blood in Yellow Top (ACD Tube). Submit Refrigerated.
Special Handling
- This test is not recommended for nonsymptomatic patients under 18 years of age.
