Collect

  • One SST

Also Acceptable:
  • Two Green Top (Li Heparin)
  • Two Green Top (Na Heparin)
  • Two Lavender (EDTA)
  • Two Pink Top (EDTA)
  • Two Red Top

Submit

  • 4 mL (Min:2 mL) Serum . Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.

Also Acceptable:
  • 4 mL (Min:2 mL) Plasma . Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.

Special Handling

  • Avoid Repeated Freeze/Thaw Cycles
  • Recommend a Total IgE (Test 2274) be ordered in addition to allergen testing
