  • Stability: Mercury is volatile; concentration may reduce after seven or more days of storage.
Rejection Criteria:
  • Specimens collected/transported in tubes other than Royal Blue (EDTA) or Trace Element Free Transport Tube.
    Heparin anticoagulant or clotted specimens.
