Special Handling
- Separate from cells within 2 hours of collection
- Timing of specimen collection: Pre-dose (trough) draw at steady state concentration.
CRITICAL FROZEN. Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.
Rejection Criteria
- Hemolyzed specimens
- Use of separator tubes
- Whole blood
- Too low volume.
