  • 1 mL (Min:0.5 mL) Body Fluid in Lavender (EDTA). Submit Refrigerated.

Also Acceptable:

Peritoneal Fluid:
Appearance = Clear and Colorless to pale yellow
RBC = <100,000 cells/cmm
TNC =<500 cells/cmm
PMNs = <26 %
Mononuclear = >74 %
Pleural / Pericardial Fluid:
Appearance = Clear and Colorless to pale yellow
RBC = 0-2 cells/cmm
TNC =<1000 cells/cmm
