  • 1 mL (Min:0.5 mL) Plasma . Submit Frozen. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.

Rejection Criteria

  • Clotted Specimen
  • Grossly Hemolyzed Samples
  • Collection tubes not properly filled
    Plasma from patients on heparin therapy

Test results from a positive mixing study cannot exclude the presence of anticoagulant inhibitor drugs such as heparin or direct thrombin inhibitors. Thrombin time or heparin Xa inhibition testing is recommended.
