Interpretive Data

General Reference Range : NOT DETECTED

The Aptima SARS-CoV-2 Assay is a qualitative nucleic acid amplification test intended for the detection of RNA from SARS-CoV-2 in nasopharyngeal (NP) and anterior nasal (AN) swab specimens from patients with signs and symptoms of COVID-19. A detected result indicates the presence of SARS-CoV-2 RNA and should be interpreted in the context of clinical, epidemiological, and laboratory findings. A not detected result does not rule out infection and should not be used as the sole basis for patient management decisions.
