Interpretive Data

Please see report for interpretive data.

The Aptima TV Assay detects the presence of Trichomonas vaginalis by qualitative nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT). Results depend on sufficient levels of DNA to be detected, absence of inhibitors and adequate sample collection. Results should be interpreted in conjunction with clinical findings and should not preclude additional studies if findings do not correlate.
