Interpretive Data:	General Reference Range : <9.0 Epstein-Barr Virus Early Antigen IgG Reference Range: 0.0-8.9 U/ml Negative 9.0-10.9 U/ml Equivocal - Repeat testing in 1-2 weeks > 10.9 U/ml Positive Manufacturer guidelines recommend excluding Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) disease before confirmation of EBV disease using POSITIVE results from the EBV EARLY IGG assay. This is due to occassional assay cross-reactivity with antibodies to HIV. Please Note: Reference range changed as of 1/15/2018.
