Interpretive data for Troponin I

0.05-0.40 Troponin I greater than or equal to 0.05 usually
indicates cardiac myofibril necrosis regardless of
etiology. Values in the lower range may rarely be
seen in normal individuals without myocardial
necrosis. The likelihood of acute myocardial infarct
as etiology increases as the Troponin I increases
towards 0.40.

>0.40 Consistant with Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI)
