Collect

  • One Gray Top

Also Acceptable:
  • One SST

Submit

  • 4 mL (Min:0.5 mL) Whole blood in Gray Top. Submit Refrigerated.

Also Acceptable:
  • 4 mL (Min:0.5 mL) Serum in SST. Submit Refrigerated.

Special Handling

  • Avoid Repeated Freeze/Thaw Cycles
  • Do not open tube, sample must not be exposed to air.
    Centrifuge SST within 4hrs of collection and do not remove stopper.
    FOR MEDICAL PURPOSES ONLY!

Rejection Criteria

  • Do Not use alcohol on phlebotomy site.
