Specimen:Collect:
  • One Red Top
Submit:
  • 2 mL (Min:1 mL) Serum . Submit Refrigerated. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.
Special Handling:
  • Keep in warm water at 37°C and allow blood to clot, then remove serum from cells ASAP after centrifugation.
    Refrigeration of specimen before separation of serum from cells will adversely affect test results.
Rejection Criteria:
  • Grossly Hemolyzed Samples
  • Use of separator tubes
