Specimen:	Collect:	One Royal Blue (EDTA)
	Submit:	6 mL (Min:0.5 mL) Whole blood in Royal Blue (EDTA). Submit Ambient.
	Special Handling:	Patient Prep: Diet, medication, and nutritional supplements may introduce interfering substances. Patient should be encouraged to discontinue nutritional supplements, vitamins, minerals, and non-essential over-the-counter medications (upon the advice of their physician). Stability: If the specimen is drawn and stored in the appropriate container the trace element values do not change with time.
	Rejection Criteria:	Clotted Specimen Heparin Anticoagulant Specimen submitted frozen Specimens collected in tubes other than Royal Blue (EDTA). Specimens transported in containers other than a Royal Blue (EDTA) tube or Trace Element-Free Transport Tube.
