Specimen:Collect:
  • One SST
Submit:
  • 5 mL (Min:0.5 mL) Serum in SST. Submit Refrigerated.
Special Handling:
  • Specimen Preparation: Do not open the tube or split the specimen. Do not freeze separator tube. Do not expose specimen to air at any time during collection or transport process. Centrifuge with stopper in place within one hour of collection. Transport upright in ORIGINAL SERUM SEPARATOR TUBE. DO NOT SHIP ON DRY ICE.

    Due to special handling, this test cannot be added to previously drawn specimens.

    Sample cannot be shared with other testing.

  • Specimens exposed to air at any time during collection or transport process.
