	Submit:	Drainage in eSwab. Submit Ambient. Also Acceptable: Other in Sterile Specimen Container. Submit Ambient. Abscess Swab in eSwab. Submit Ambient. Deep Wound in eSwab. Submit Ambient.
	Special Handling:	State Source If aspirate is made with a needle and syringe, specimen may be put into a sterile (urine) container.
	Rejection Criteria:	Leaking Container Syringe with needle attached. Organisms submitted in liquid media other than eSwab. Specimens that contain normal or transient anaerobic flora are not suitable for anaerobic culture. These include: Oral, Throat, nasopharyngeal, sputum, urogenital, urine, feces, superficial wounds and specimens from sites contaminated with intestinal contents.
