Specimen:Collect:
  • One SST

Also Acceptable:
  • One Lavender (EDTA)
  • One Pink Top (EDTA)
  • One Red Top
Submit:
  • 1 mL (Min:0.5 mL) Serum . Submit Frozen. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.

Also Acceptable:
  • 1 mL (Min:0.5 mL) Plasma . Submit Frozen. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.
Special Handling:
  • Avoid Repeated Freeze/Thaw Cycles
  • Separate from cells ASAP
  • If TTG Ab, IgA is greater then 10 U/mL, then the Endomysial Ab, IgA (test# 93103) test will be performed. Additional charges will apply.

  • Hemolyzed specimens
  • Heparinized specimens
  • Lipemic Samples
