Submit:
  • Nasal Swab in Sterile Specimen Container. Submit Refrigerated.

Special Handling:
  • Use only the flocked swab provided in the kit. If transport is required, place the swab in Viral Transport Media and refrigerate.

    To perform Influenza A/B via DFA a separate nasopharyngeal swab, aspirate or washing needs to be collected and placed in Viral Transport Media.
Rejection Criteria:
  • Specimens collected from other sources. Swabs other than those provided in the ImmunoCard STAT! Flue A&B test kit.
