Reticulin Ab is found in untreated gluten-sensitive enteropathic children (70%) and adults (30%), dermatitis herpetiformis (25%) and small bowel inflammation (20%). The antibody titer may fall after removal of wheat gluten from the diet. IgG reticulin Ab is less specific than IgA reticulin Ab.
