Tricyclics detectable with this assay include: amitriptyline, clomipramine, desipramine, doxepin, imipramine, nortriptyline, protriptyline and trimipramine.
Levels of tricyclic antidepressants in the therapeutic range may not be detectable. False positives may occur with the following drugs: Seroquel, Trieptal, Benadryl at toxic concentrations, Flexeril, Thioridazine, and Thorazine.
