Specimen:
  Collect: One 4 mL Lavender (EDTA)  
  Submit: 1 mL (Min:0.5 mL) Plasma. Submit Frozen. Submit in a Standard Transport Tube.  
  Special Handling: Critical Frozen
Draw in chilled EDTA tube, immediately add 0.3ml aprotinin inhibitor to whole blood. Mix then immediately centrifuge, separate and freeze plasma.
Aprotinin is available through Client Services 1-800-700-6891 (ARUP Supply #16570). 
  Rejection Criteria: Samples without aprotinin additive added
