One Nasopharyngeal Swab in Regan Lowe Media. Submit Ambient.

Special Handling:

Perform nasopharyngeal collection and immediately place swab in Regan Lowe media (black).

Rejection Criteria:

The culture for Bordetella Pertussis requires Regan Lowe media. The media must be stored refrigerated and then warmed to room temperature before inoculation.
