General Reference Range : 32-182
LAP is LOW in chronic myelogenous leukemia, 50% of acute leukemias, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, erythroleukemia, collagen-vascular diseases, early infectious mononucleosis and in hereditary hypophasphatasia. LAP is elevated in neutrophilia due to stress and infections, myeloproliferative disorders, pregnancy, oral contraceptives, acute lymphocytic leukemia, and Hodgkin's disease.
